The DRK tanks can be replaced with NIN/DRK, PLD/NIN, or RDM/NIN tanks. Try to make sure at least one tank has Stun. Tanks will not normally engage Omega since the damage dealt is insignificant compared to the amount of TP fed.

General Strategy

- BLMs need to have 200 MP in reserve to deal with these
- 1st BLM casts Tier4
- 2nd BLM casts Stun, then Tier4

- If you pull hate, keep shadows up until the tanks can get hate back
- Nuke during Four-Legs form, rest during Two-Legs form
- Keep up DoTs at all times
- Don't drop below 200 MP

- Double Marches on DRKs
- Double Ballads on mages
- Keep up Elegy at all times
- RDM
- Haste and Refresh DRKs
- Refresh BLMs
- Keep up Slow II and Paralyze
- Stun if needed to help DRKs

- Hate spells: Sleep, Sleep II, Bind (VE)
- Use Stun to help each other get shadows up and get hate
- Try to Stun Pile Pitch
- If everything is going smoothly, you can engage and DD during Two-Leg form
The overall strategy is to limit the amount of TP given to Omega. There should be very few TP moves used during the fight.
Battle Plan
- Buff, rest to full, and enter
- Omega starts in Four-Leg form
- DRKs Stun, Last Resort, Souleater and spam hate spells, but don't engage
- When he switches forms, BLMs dispatch the Gunpod
- Keep up DoTs whenever possible (Requiem, Bio II/III, Poison II, Burn, Choke, Shock)
- Four-Leg form
- BLMs nuke hard but don't go below 200 MP
- DRKs disengage
- Two-Leg form
- BLMs rest for MPs and keep up DoTs
- Alternate between Two and Four-Leg form strategies until he enters the Final form
- Final form (25% HP)
- BLMs nuke freely, while always maintaining enough MP to deal with Gunpods
- Hold at 5% or less for an extra Pod or 2
- If things get ugly at low HP, RDM can Chainspell+Stun, BLMs Manafont and nuke like crazy, and DRKs can engage to finish him off
