General Strategy

The goal is to limit his TP gain by using BLMs to deal all the damage. Combined with Absorb-TP, Ultima should never have enough TP to get any moves off.

BLM
Use Tier IV nukes
Aspir whenever it is up
Pay attention to how many spells are being cast and how much TP the DRK are getting from Absorb-TP, stop nuking if it gets too much TP until the DRK can absorb it
Keep up dots: Burn, Choke, Shock, Poison II, Bio II (must use Apollo's staff to 0 the damage)
BRD
Have macros to swap parties
Double Marches on DRKs
Double Ballads on mages
Keep up Elegy at all times
RDM
Haste and Refresh DRKs
Keep up Slow II and Paralyze
Stun Dissipation
DRK
Hate spells: Sleep, Sleep II, Bind (VE)
Use Stun to help each other get shadows up and get hate
Staggered Absorb-TP rotation

Battle Plan

First 80%

  1. DRK secure hate
  2. RDM and BRD handle debuffs/buffs
  3. BLMs keep up DoTs
  4. Once hate is secure, BLMs begin nuking
  5. All the BLMs cast 1 Tier4, then a DRK casts Absorb-TP
  6. Continue alternating Tier4s with Absorb-TP until each phase change
  7. When he aproaches a phase change, RDM gets ready to stun Dissipation
  8. BLMs trigger phase change with a volley of Tier4s and the RDM Stuns Dissipation
